The Coffee Colour show is up and opens May 6th at Crema Coffee Shop 3079 Dundas St. West. The work looks great and the cafe is the perfect venue to show this collection of coffee inspired work. Drop by between 6 and 9 for a wine and cheese reception.

We are getting ready for the opening of a show of work called Coffee Colour. The show is made up of photographs that have been converted to vector art in an effort to simplify the image. I am really pleased with the results. Come and join us for the opening night.

We just finished this video for the Manitoba Health Board featuring Ian Ronningen. Ian has previously distinguished himself as a member of The Pheasant Plucker’s Mates theatre group. Founded by Jessica Beaulieu, Briana Templeton and Gwen Phillips The Pheasant Plucker’s Mates are committed to make strangers laugh until they wet their pants and cry until they soak their collars.

The studio is hosting a Doughnut Party this week. Julie Zambonelli will be making homemade doughnuts for all in attendance. Annan & Sons is printing the poster Jane Stanfield designed for us to help mark the occasion. The double-sided poster features beauty shots of doughnuts with pastel backgrounds and a detail shot in a natural light setting.

Most of the roads I travelled to the local coffee farms were single track dirt with a sheer drop down the mountain on one side. No one looked forward to meeting a truck coming in the opposite direction. Our host Edwin Martinez assured us that every Toyota that we were using on the trip had been rolled at least once.
